Midland Air Service Experts was thrilled to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids in April. April 2016 is the second year that Midland Air has participated in this incredible event that helps fund the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the primary nonprofit supporting research into childhood brain tumors. The raised money funds free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial aid for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has gathered over $500,000. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been involved in the event since 2014 and her father’s riding group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids annually.
“My dad’s motorcycle group gets involved every year because they can have a blast and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Take a look at Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The philanthropic motorcycle club may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it because we love the kids,” said Rebecca.
