Technicians will also inspect internal components like the anode rod to find out if it needs to be replaced, as well as the temperature pressure release (TPR) valve to ensure it’s not blocked. The TPR valve releases water when there is an excessive amount of pressure in the tank and ensures that your pipes don’t burst. If this valve isn’t performing like it’s supposed to, we can recommend if it needs to be replaced.
Although tankless water heaters don’t store water, the system still needs to be flushed from time to time. There are also two filters in tankless water heaters that keep buildup or debris from getting through, and our staff will inspect and clean those completely.
